Institut DER SICHERSTE

Better known as IDSW, it is a GERMAN educational institution.

We are located in the heart of the political capital YAOUNDE, opposite the Tsinga polyclinic.

Who are we?

Created 20 years ago, IDSW organizes and supports young graduates, students and workers wishing to pursue their studies, training and jobs in Germany through our A1-A2, B1-B2 and C1 sessions.

Our courses

These levels were developed at European level thanks to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This framework from the Council of Europe defined international standards used to validate different levels of language proficiency.

LEVEL A1 ("Introductory" or "Discovery")

Skills : simple questions in a familiar environment.
You can use and understand very simple sentences and expressions that help you manage concrete situations.
You can ask and answer simple questions about yourself: where you live, objects, activities...
You can communicate simply with a helpful speaker who talks slowly and clearly.

LEVEL A2 ("Intermediate" or "Survival")

Skills : common descriptions and simple conversations.
You can use and understand isolated sentences about personal information, shopping, work, family...
You can communicate during simple and routine activities that require only basic information on familiar subjects.
You can describe your immediate environment, your education and topics related to your immediate needs.

LEVEL B1 ("Threshold")

Skills : limited autonomy, daily life, opinions.
You can understand the key points of standard speech on familiar matters (family, work, leisure...).
You can cope while traveling in an area where the language is spoken. You can produce simple connected text on topics of personal interest.
You can tell a story, describe a dream, a hope, or present a project or idea.

LEVEL B2 ("Advanced" or "Independent")

Skills : everyday understanding, conversations, opinions, argumentation.
You can understand the key points of a concrete or abstract discussion in a complex text, including technical discussions in your specialty.
You can interact spontaneously and fluently without strain.
You can express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects.
You can discuss current issues and present advantages and disadvantages.

LEVEL C1 ("Autonomous")

Skills : fluent and spontaneous expression, good command of the language.
This level develops students' language skills and strategies in reading, writing, listening and speaking so they can apply them to longer and more complex subjects and tasks, understand a wide range of long and demanding texts, and grasp implicit meanings.
